MATHS CLUB:

For students who would like help finishing their Maths work, then we have the solution for you!! Maths Club runs on Tuesdays after school in room B3, where there will be around 3 or 4 Maths teachers there to help you. Bring your textbook, workbook, calculator and pens. We'll provide light refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there.

Parents of Year 7 students, watch this site !! PRIME night will happen again during Term 2. We're just waiting to confirm the date and topic before we announce these publically

MATHS COMPETITION:

It's on again for this year. The Australian Mathematics Competition will be held on Thursday 6th August, but we need to know the number of interested students by late April (so that we can register by 8th May). Early term 2, teachers will tell students who are interested to pay $5 to the General Office. The competition is a test for which a calculator is NOT allowed. The questions cover general maths topics, ranging from easy to hard questions. Years 7&8 enter "junior' level; Years 9&10 enter "intermediate" level and Years 11&12 enter "senior" level. All students get a certificate to thank them for participating. There are prizes for those who achieve extremely well for their year level. Watch out for expressions of interest next term.
