Greensborough College provides fantastic opportunities for every student to compete in sport, whether at the inner school level or the interschool competitions. There is a wide variety of sports on offer through-out the entire school year (as listed below).

Yr 7 round robin - sports offered include; Cricket, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball.

House Swimming Carnival @ Greensborough Pool

House Athletics Carnival @ Willinda Park

District/ Northern Zone / State level Swimming competitions.

Intermediate /Yr 8/ Yr 7 round robins - sports offered include; Footy, Soccer, Netball, Badminton.

Cross Country

Intermediate/ Yr 8/ Yr 7 round robins - sports offered include; Basketball, Table tennis, Squash, Hockey.

Yr 8/9 + Yr 7 round robins - sports offered include; Baseball, Cricket, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball (2007 competition).

Coaches hold try-outs and training sessions for every team competing in an interschool competition. Teams are supplied with transportation, uniforms and all necessary equipment.

Greensborough College sporting teams and outstanding individual sporting performances are always recognised by the whole college community. For example: recognition in staff/ student bulletins, weekly newsletters, award presentations at College assemblies, certificates and presentations at the annual College Presentation Night etc.
