Scholarship Program


Scholarships offered by Greensborough College are available to young people who diligently seek to realise their potential in all pursuits undertaken whilst a student of the College. Applicants will demonstrate preparedness to embrace the College's values of Courage, Aspiration, Respect and Equality.




Citizenship/Leadership Scholarship

Available to students demonstrating high Academic Achievement, a positive work ethic, leadership and peer mentoring skills. Applicants must have participated in a variety of activities during their time at Primary School. 

ADP Sporting Excellence Scholarship
Open to students demonstrating a strong affiliation with sport both in the community and with their Primary School. 

Music Scholarship

Open to students demonstrating high musical talent and achievement. Applicants must be involved in school performing groups and it is expected that this will continue at Greensborough College. 

Academic Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to one student who demonstrates exemplary academic achievement together with a strong work ethic, who strives for excellence. This is determined through the High Achiever Application and testing process (please also complete the High Achiever Application to attend the test) including recommendation from the Primary School.

Application process:
Applications for the Academic Excellence, Citizenship/Leadership, Sporting Excellence and Music Scholarships must be submitted by completing the online application form (below). 
Students are also required to email the following to: greensborough.sc@education.vic.gov.au

1. A Student Profile prepared by the student (including a student photo, hobbies, interests, skills, personal attributes, achievements etc.)

2. A Reference Letter from either Grade 6 Teacher, Assistant Principal or Principal of your Primary School 
3. School Reports (Grade 5 or Grade 6) 

Please note: If shortlisted, you may be required to attend an Interview. A parent/guardian must accompany the student at the interview if shortlisted. All Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to arrange a suitable time for the interview. A requirement of the selection criteria is contact with the student's current Primary School. By submitting the application form parents agree to abide by the decision of the College.

Year 7 2022 Scholarship Applications will open in February 2021. Visit this page from February 2021 to complete the online form.


All Scholarships are for 1 year and provide fees for essential items as well as book vouchers for Year 7 students.
